Blue Light Of Death - PS4

Hi, i won a PS4 in the Sony TV promo - 1 in 5 chances of winning a PS4. I unfortunately recieved a PS4 that had the blue light of death. I have contacted Sony and they told my they would arrange a replacement. It's been a few weeks now and i still havn't heard anything. I have rang them a few times but they keep fobbing me off with "someone will contact you soon!" Did anyone else having this problem when winning a PS4?

Just checked and it seems that the Blue light of death is a common fault with PS4's. Will keeping nagging Sony i guess.

They usually replace them within a few days. oO

You're telephoning the Playstation support number and not Sony aren't you?

From what I've seen, there was a specific batch that were dead on arrival straight out of the box - as it seems yours is - but new shipments haven't had this problem (at least not to a significant extent). But yes, keep chasing, I agree.

Months? No way. Get back in touch and tell them it isn't acceptable. They're fobbing you off.

I'd understand if they were selling out like they were a few months ago but not now.

Thats exactly my point, i keep telling them, but all they say is " Due to the number of issue's we have recieved for this promotion we can only offer a replacement on the nexrt available shipment which is 2 - 3 months? "

Contact PlayStation UK on Twitter stating that you won a PS4 and it's now faulty, explain you have been waiting for a replacement for weeks, they should be more helpful.
