Bluray won the war but does anyone buy them ?

HD DVD may be dead but it sure look like better value than bluray

I have a ps3 but have not bought any blu ray because they are so expensive, does anyone actually spend £20 on a film ?

    Am I alone here ?

I dont think they are worth the money just for abit more sharpness,i'd rather save £10 and buy a normal New DVD release

Ive got a ps3 but i only buy hd dvds

its pathetic, i agree with the OP, absolutely ridiculous, cant be that much to make them if they can give away casino royal with so many sign ups to the PSN!

thier is a big difference, depends what player and tv you got, i hav a sony bdps1e player an its much better than my ps3, the price is high atm because ts still new abit like when dvd come out they were £20-25 but as time goes on and more people purchase them they will drop in price and dvd will disapear an to be fair you can get blu rays from £8 upwards which isnt really breaking the bank, hddvd was not as good as it couldnt progress unlike bluray which has 200 gb in production

get mine from amazon us, all latest titles for like £7.50 to £10£15 most are region free, cheaper than most new dvds even.
