That'll do the trick!

If using T-cut colour restorer, remember that you are removing layers of paint as you rub. :thumbsup:

I like fords! Had loads in my time...old fiestas, escorts and now a focus!

Best buy at asda, they have 375ml bottles for around £3.50. :thumbsup:

But, remember it's a cutting polish, it will remove the top layer(s) of paint, that's how it blends in the scratches.

Thanks Shambolic....I will get my bf to do it for me, dont want to remove the paint! Thats worries me a bit to think it might take the paint off

Fix Or Repair Daily

fiat=fix it again tomorrow lol

Just be careful, but be aware you are removing the top coat as you rub.

It would take a lot of elbow grease to go down to the primer though, you'll be fine.

It's sort of like T-cut but 10 million times better. Cutting/finishing compound.

ftw means For The Win so don't go asking for Farecla ftw:thumbsup:

You could always say it's FTW (For The Wings)? :-D

Don't think you'll pick it up for £3.50 in asda though. :thinking:

Quite correct, but then you get what you pay for;-)

]Halfords Version £3.89

Pretty much the same sort of thing as Farecla but cheaper. Not sure how good it is though.

Thanks everyone...someone mentioned chipsway - are they anygood? R they expensive?

I havent gone through the replies, but the best way to sort out scratches is to use Auto Glym Scratch Remover. Get a polishing rag and dampen it, shake the bottle and put a nice dollop on the rag, use a circular motion. Once you have done this, use a nice wax polish. Something like Autoglym super resin polish or a turtle wax paste etc. Stay away from the liquids personally.

If you need some more advice, ask. But if it needs touching up I would get a special repair company to do it, they never look good when they are touched in. And painting it would ruin the look of the rest of the car.
