Yeah i would report it, £44,000 is a lot of cash to anyone, I couldn't just take that and spend it, Could be someones loan/deposit thats taken them years to save up etc, If someone could afford to lose that kind of money, Why would they sell a PS2?, They wouldn't need the money?

Its strange though, As for feedback. I'd probably leave a neg (after emails), Its missing 2 games afterall. :giggle:

Exactly my point! Can imagine the seller mailing the buyer. "Erm excuse me but did i accidently put 40 grand in yr parcel?"
"Sorry not me mate!!!!" Ha Ha

Anyone dodgy enough to post 44k probably wouldnt want it reported to the poilce anyway:whistling:

Typical police keeping the cash and claiming its due to "investigations"

Bloody hell missed that deal On ebay :giggle: It would have been the hottest deal

I'm just amazed it got through. The postal service seem to nick everything else!

The fact that no-one has claimed the money I would assume that to mean its a bit "iffy". I'm not sure the kid will claim the money. Would you risk a visit of a "Vinny" with 2 barrels....
Its tempting but I prefer to keep my legs....

Does anyone know the username of the ebayer he bought the ps2 from? I wanna see if they have anything else for sale

i wanna pretend to be him and "claim my lost monies" i shall spread the wealth with you lot should you make me seem convincing

"Police are trying to trace the owner of 65,400 euros (£44,000) mistakenly sent to a 16-year-old boy who bought a Playstation Two for £95 on eBay."

Says something about the Old Bill, this was back on March 20 - they must be able to find out who sent it from Ebay:?

They need Jack Regan back:

"We're the Sweeney son and we haven't 'ad our dinner!"

"Get yer trousers on, you're nicked"

What are the odds on the kid getting it though...

Parents will be already spending it.

Don't you have to be 18 to be on Ebay?!

Phew! I'd been looking for that. Thought I'd lost it in the abyss of my sofa for good
