Bradley Lowery age 5 now has two months to live, asking for Christmas cards - Please send one!

This isn't something i would normally post but for some reason it has really hit home, i would hate for any family to go through this...

I know there's a strong community on HUKD and really would make this little boys face light up, i'll be sending one and my eldest is getting his school class to send cards so i thought you could help spread the word.

Bradley Lowery's dad posted this yesterday.. (Dated 9th Dec)

There are no words. Please those who attend this weekends Sunderland and Newcastle games sing his name on 5 minutes for his age. if anyone can spare just one Christmas Card this year, please, please send it to this lad.

Bradley Lowery has just 2 months to live after struggling for some time battling against cancer. His last wish is to receive thousands and thousands of Christmas cards.

His address is ....
Bradley Lowery
5 Attlee Avenue
Blackhall Rocks
Hartlepool
TS27 4BY

Please spread the word lets make his dreams come true.

Full Story is here but it's heartbreaking

This makes my problems look miniscule. Thanks for bringing this to our attention. A card will be in the post tomorrow. I'm lost for words :'( strength and best wishes to Bradley and his family.

Saw this on instagram over the weekend and added one to the pile for this poor lad.

Takes nothing and could help make him smile.

Thanks for posting it to give it more attention.

going to buy a really special card for him and ask my 6yr old with special needs to bling it up and send it to him..

hukd should donate / send a small gift package to him, perhaps an extra one of the smaller prizes up for grabs in the flamedeer hunt

If the family have asked for cards, we should respect that. They will have enough to deal with, at such a challenging time. The gift is a generous thought, but adds to the things that require organising later, which may become burdensome.

fair point but was only thinking of a kinder hamper, ds or something not like a ps4 etc

so sad

my kids are doing one now

Mine's done. Hope they all make him smile.

Never did this before, but I will put my kids to send one each. We all learn something new every day from our amazing children. Very sad.

I'll post one first thing in the morning.

Busy writing my card out, I've asked my kids to write one out each rather than me writing one and putting from me & family. My eldest said her school are all making their own cards from each child to send Bradley. I hope all these simple gestures make him smile.

He's received over 11000 already...how on earth are the family going to deal with all these?
Wondering if they have a fundraising page so people could donate & the family can spoil him for the little time he has left

off now to Tesco was going to do my comps on here but this little person is more important

A friend posted this on my timeline today for me to see, she herself is terminal and a single mum of 2 so she knows what the family is going through. Card on its way

Let's make this happen

I'll send one tomorrow

sent ours last Friday, he is local to me, God it is so hard to see the stuff about him on FB and local news
