Hi All,

I am looking to buy some breakdown cover...I am wanting it to include everything but not fussed about cover in Europe.

Basically looking for recovery from home, anywhere in the UK and the option of being taken home or to intended destination etc.

Any advice?!

I have had a quote off Greenflag but that was over £100!!

Any recommendations please!

Johnny

Do you have any friend's or family that can donate some to you or you could buy some on ebay.

I was with this lot for a few years when I had a car.... firstcallmotorbreakdown.co.uk/

No problems - called them out a couple of times and they responded pretty quick - £42.50 for UK cover.

I've used this company for quite a while .. very good service

Even cheap if you don't need European cover

I think you might need to buy the full amount from 1 person then the RAC will send the person a form to complete with your details.

Are you expecting to break down frequently? If not then why bother with all the bells and whistles?

I asked the same question about a week ago the best thing i found was top ring you insurance company and ask them mine worked out alot cheaper with them.

I know I will get slated for this, but some bank acounts include it in their package, I get full green flag, full family holiday insurance, mobile phone insurance, extended warranty on electrical items and a cheaper overdraft and loan, the prices of these insurances together are much more than the fee for the bank account and we have used the breakdown service several times and very efficient it is too.

Oooh i'm finding this site difficult today|!!
