British Grand Prix

Hi there just wondered if anyone had ever been to the british grand prix and if theres any must do or see things at the event? obviously apart from the race, im lucky enough to be going both days so really wanting any expereince on the event?

I've never been on a gp weekend but if you have general tickets, see if you can get in around the becketts complex as the cars will be going through at ridiculous speed, or down near stowe/vale/club corner

There are loads of things to do. Often on Saturdays some of the drivers are on show at their respective stands (maclaren/ferrari) to sign autographs etc. There is loads going on inside the circuit such as being able to change F1 wheels (pitstops), or drive simulators.

If you are camping there is a funfair near the main entrance for the evening, and quite often after Qually I like to go into the village itself. Many resdidents set up cake stalls or play music from their gardens to keep you entertained.

After the race on Sunday you can join the drivers party which kicks off around 6. and this year they will be showing the World Cup final on the big screens at 7.30pm in the circuit.

Hope this helps, have a fab weekend.. I know I will..

There are plenty of other thing to do, Weve been there the last two years, but not this year as Hubbys working abroad. I didn't think I would like going but it was ok
