British policing is in a 'potentially perilous' state, with thousands of criminal suspects roaming free

    telegraph.co.uk/new…ns/

Policing in Britain is in a "potentially perious" state with tens of thousands of suspects of crime roaming free in the community, a damning report has found.

The policing watchdog has issued an unprecedented warning about the shortage of detectives and investigators, saying it amounted to a "national crisis".

    And here bbc.co.uk/new…300
Some police forces are putting the public at an unacceptable risk by rationing their response as they struggle with cutbacks, Her Majesty's Inspectorate of Constabulary warns.

What's going on, read below, conflicting messages?!

Give them more £20 notes ?! I am confused, yesterday they got time to do stuff like that lady with £20 note and today they have no time to so nearly 46,000 wanted suspects on the police database? Is there to trash this report by priming gulliable media and social media with £20 plot at a shop, a conspriracy?

nothing new if they arrest them all they will be out of jobs

The police try their best to lock up crooks only for the judges to throw them back on the streets with a little smacked wrist.

I would say the system is skewed in favour of keeping the £100 an hour legal teams in lucrative business.

Give a Judge a crook and he can feed himself for a day. Send the Crook out with a suspended sentence and you can feed the Judge for a lifetime.

Cameron and then Home Secretary May broke the police. This is the outcome of their work.

The next thing i reckon Tories will privatise is The Police.

    The Jobcentre?

It must be disheartening for the police to arrest the same person for the same type of crime time and time again. If the the justice system worked there would be no career criminals and the police wouldn't so stretched.

It's little to do with the Judges though isn't it? Don't they just hand out sentences per Home Office guidance? and they are appointed by the people we put in charge, so in effect, its YOUR fault!!

Labor started it with using G4S for the prisons, and some private policing functions.
Like they did with the NHS, with private catering contracts and cleaning contracts.

Let's not make this post political, if you look back over the last 30 years, Labour privatised more then any other government, PFI school and government buildings that are costing us a fortune at the moment etc..

They only feather their own nests and their own interests, champagne socialists.

Remember that the police's real job is to make sure that you don't commit a thought crime, catching criminals is hard work and possibly racist.

Unemployment was at 9.9% when Labour were kicked out.
    It is now at 4.8%

This is a switch from payment benefits to 2 million people, to these 2 million people paying NI and TAX.
I consider that a great achievement.

I just want to add.. Whilst researching these figures, I have just read that EVERY labour government in the UK since time began has left office with unemployment higher than when they entered.
Says a lot for creating an environment for growth and investment.

They are all sub-standard in leadership, since 1945, the £ has been dropping and dropping in value, no single government has done anything in production, industrial output, GDP, exports to boot the value of the UK PLC. The £ was 5$ now £ is $1.25. If they are any good the £1 should be worth $3.

Christ , it rained really hard yesterday, bloody tory Gov ...

Last time I checked all but one of the hospital PFI deals were signed by Labour. Corbyn even apologised for the 300-billion his party is going to cost the UK taxpayer.
Alfred Nobel invented dynamite, are we going to blame him for all the deaths, misery and suffering that invention has caused?
