is there a website to compare what speeds are best for your area ??? xxx

    O2
    £7.50
2 Mbps (But I'm miles from the exchange!)

    o2, £7.10, just under 8mb

is the upload speed the info that the xbox is sending and is that why its so slow xxx

You also need to use a wired connection for a true test

VM - Can't really break it down as pay X for TV XL, Phone (Landlines, mobile & International) and 10mb BB

Speeds are determined by your equipment, exchange etc

If you're on DSL / ADSL then it is also effected by distance from the exchange, heavy use of the line etc so it's impossible to say what's the best provider for your area.

Upload is anything you upload, most notably when you upload photos, videos etc, usually 25% of your download speed. Anything your xbox sends would be minimal, i.e. message to say you want to play X etc, but it would upload your data when on xbox live

    02

    dl speed is 13.34mbps

That of as well course

love your location by the way

I normally get well involved with ADSL threads, as I deal with ADSL alot at work, but am hanging out my backside tonight so just chipping in. Internal wiring is the biggest problem I come accross, and long flat (cheapo pounshop) extension leads, avoid them as ADSL doesn't travel well over flat non twisted pairs Location: family guy best one ever
