BT Infinity 2

Found 21st Dec 2017
Hi, joined BT this week so I'll be activated next month. I keep reading though that infinity 1 is getting moved to Infinity 2 speeds at no cost. Have I made a mistake?

I can get 71mb where I am. Thanks

The price difference between 52 and 71 is huge but the speed is only 19mb extra. I don't see the point in infinity 2
im payting £49 for my bt infinity 2...i understand why i am now. thought it was cheaper than usual!
Getting roughly 76 on Infinity 1 :-)

Isn't there a different in upstream between infinity 1 & 2 though ?
I pay £35.49 for infinity 2 with weekend calls (which I never use)
Existing Infinity 1 customers were given a free speed boost if the line supported it, this was done just before the announced price rise.
New customers won't get the boost who are joining now.
A few months ago I was given the free boost to as my line supported it, I have fibre to the home not to the cabinet, you know if you have fibre to the home as BT will install a 2nd line. I now get around 75mb. But 51mb was more than enough, especially if you have come from 1mb provided by talktalk. This is a test this morning why kids are on PS4
