No you cant have two broadbands on one line.

If you switch to Sky for phone line your will be held to term on the BT line if your still in contract or if it is LLU service Sky are providing you could end up with two lines and having to pay Sky for one and BT for one so id check with them whether its LLU or WLR provided

Same with the o2 broadband, if you switch to sky and your in contract you could get held to term or end up having to pay for both.

Think carefully before allowing Sky to have control of your telephone line, it is very difficult to get it back to a BT line if you are not happy with the service.

In some areas yes, they will buy service from BT Wholesale in some parts of the country and they sell it to you under their own banner. Note BT Wholesale is not the same BT you call with issues for your current line thats BT Retail. So if you have problems with Sky line on WLR you need to deal with sky themselves as its nothing to do with BT retail.

In other parts of the country Sky may have their own equipment in exchanges , LLU, which means they dont buy it from BT Wholesale and provide it direct to you.... which is why the small print in some adverts says offers are only available in some parts of the country so make sure you check the terms and conditions before signing up

Wholesale Line Rental (renting lines in bulk from BT Wholesale)

Local Loop Unbundling - where OLO's (Other Licensed Operators) install their own equipment into a BT Exchange and your line is removed from the BT Frame (as it was) and to Sky's hardware - and you are effectively removed from BT and as indicated above - getting off it can be very painful

So if I'm with sky. Even if they give me a bt phone I will no longer be with BT. So if I'm connected to the police say then this will be disconnected
