Budget flight comparison now MSE's FlightChecker is gone?

Looking to fly from Birmingham to Faro (9th to 16th April). A few years ago I would have used the MSE FlightChecker tool - is there any alternative since that service was closed down? The likes of Kayak, SkyScanner and Expedia don't tend to include budget carriers.

Also, any tips for good deals on that route?

Skyscanner has always included budget airlines when Ive checked.

Only Ryanair shows up for me on any of those tools. Maybe they're the only one offering the route.

Google Flights definitely has budget airlines.

The cheapest way to fly to Faro always used to be booking the cheapest package holiday you could find; this always used to be cheaper than trying to find a non Thomas Cook flight into Faro.

We never used the apartment, only the flight.

However, we havent been for about 10 years, so things might have changed.

They have changed, most of the time if you book and research and book flights and hotel seperately - it works out far cheaper and can be more flexible on dates

quick Google showing 124 on ryanair also shows monarch and easyjet after this but more price. if u go in 10th then it's £91 if that's any help

Dont you still need to pay (loads) extra for a suitcase with RyanAir??

10 years back, a regular flight cost about £240, but you could pick up a cheap TC late deal for £129, saving loads of money, and book a privately owned apartment on Windmill Hill.
