How much a month is the monitoring service?

You can buy a box for outside sepertly but it doesnt ring, however the alarm is so loud you couldnt not hear it go off, BT do supply stickers for your windows to indicate that the property has a BT alarm.

I think for £50ish you will struggle to get an alarm with an outside box that rings.

The home monitoring service is £5 a month but i believe you can program it to ring a number of your own for free rather than it ringing BT.

I found this info on BT website
BT Home Monitor VP1000 comes with first 3 months monitoring included in the price. After this time, monitoring is charged at a monthly fee of £5.00

and also on BT website it seems that the exact same system is £179.99 :whistling:

the Saverstore price is excellent. Does anyone know how much would I expect to be charged to have it fitted? We have all the wiring done hanging out of the walls ready to be connected but useless at DIY.

Also does it come with the Outside box too???

Thanks

Ive fitted three of them myself and believe me im no electrical expert.

You just connect the main box to the telephone line and the phone line and then the rest of the wirless sensors and door sensors are wireless so you just stick them up, activate them on to the main box and away you go.

All you need is a drill to put the main box on the wall, if anyone tries to rip the main box off the wall the alarm will go off.
