Hi could anyone help me with something?

I downloaded an .iso movie and would like to burn it onto a dvd so I can watch it on a standalone DVD player.

When I extracted the .iso rar file, it outputs an Audio_TS and a Video_TS.

How do I burn this onto a DVD? Do I just simply drag the two files onto a blank DVD in VIsta and burn it this way?

Any help is appreciated

Cheers!

You should burn the .iso without extracting, an .iso is a disc image.

There are instructions ]here that cover how to do this with various freeware burning applications.

Unless either yourself or a friend is computer savvy (pardon the phrase) you may need to (gasp) put your hand in your pocket and buy (dirty word) some software specifically designed to help you make your own cd's and dvds. I presonally use nero7. It's great, it converts files on the fly. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you need help.

Yep follow the guides in my post above. I take it to mean that once you had extracted the rar files there was a file called something like film.iso ? dont burn as a data disc though! Use a image recorder, i use nero, but there are many freely available alternatives out there.

whoops! Sorry, I guess there is no iso. The file was called .iso and was a rar file. Now that I think about it, that wasn't an extension, it was just what that person who made the file called it! :-D

Thanks for your help guys! Rep all round!

TS stands for "telescreener" it means that the film you are burning has been filmed with a camcorder, but on a tripod. It usually has good sound. Check reviews/comments at the piratebay (google this)

Not in this case on all video dvds there are two folders Video_TS and Audio_TS the audio one is nearly always empty and the video one contains a bunch of files ending with extensions such as .ifo and .bup which contain all the films information such as the menus extras subtitles various audio options such as languages and of cause the film itself:thumbsup:

I usually use Nero and use "Decode DVD" and burns with no problem? Im guessing this was taken from a DVD as thats the folders it had or was it downloaded?

EDIT : Just seen you downloaded it, is it a avi format as will not play on your DVD player?
