hi all, asked in a post yesterday about burning a series of Ben10 to disk for the kids, 13 episodes in total about 22 mins per episode, was asking why i could only get 6 episodes on one disk etc, ok so some very helpful people explained if i converted the files to DivX i could fit the whole series on one disk - all done great! Now the dvd player wont recognise the disk (just says no disk), would anyone be able to help me here? much appreciated - im not sure what i have done wrong, the whole series is now DivX, i have a samsung dvd player, is there something i need to do? when i play the disk on the laptop it automatically goes to DivX player no problems and plays the files - im still learning!

Your DVD player is not compatible thats why I said you may need to convert it to DVD format?

Does your dvd burner allow you to make vcd's? these are videos on normal cd's... shorter but cheaper and much, much quicker to burn

you need a divx dvd player

Ok that was good info, i had no problems as what i have done is put 6 episodes on one disc and 7 on another - great the kids are watching them now! i followed all your advice on what to do, but then i started getting ahead of myself and thought 'what if i could put the whole series on one disc' as i have a DivX player in the living room.

BTW thanx for your help:thumbsup:

DivX player in the living room - honest!

how did you 'convert them to divx' as the original files were AVI which IS DIVX!
