Bush Freezer or Candy?

Hi,

Looking for a new small chest freezer, I have seen bootskitchenappliances.com/pro…spx and argos.co.uk/pro…022 both seem low end models with an ok capacity, Bush are Argos own brand where as Candy is Italian, just wondering if one brand is better in reliability then the other. Both have reasnable reviews and while cost is important would rather have something good then bad. Candy suggest a 10 year parts warranty but thats subject to you paying its call out fee while Bush seem to have no after sales team. Any help or advise is appreciated

I had a Candy F/F that lasted 10 years, a washing machine into its 12th year and dryer into its 8th year.

No issues at all.

But I'm not sure who makes their white goods now. Probably changed
Definitely candy part of indesit hoover group I believe. Better service and spares availability.

Same with me
Go frost free if you can.
Most chest freezers aren't frost free and those that are, are expensive. I've a large chest freezer in my garage and it ices up quite quickly. Defrosts via a drain hole, a bit of a pain...

Did see this on your website bootskitchenappliances.com/pro…spx which is similar price, similar size, frost free but not a chest freezer.
