Bush or Logik? Which is the better brand

Found 14th Dec 2014
I'm buying a portable DVD player for a relative. Unfortunately I wasn't able to get the Aldi one so I'm now trying to decide between this Logik one:
currys.co.uk/gbu…tml
And this Bush one:
argos.co.uk/sta…htm
Does anyone have any experience of either or any general brand advice.
Thanks

I'd go for the Logik, both in price and in features it seems superior.

I can see from a 2011 forum thread comment that (some) Logik products are manufactured by TCL

As far as I'm aware, Bush is now an Argos-owned brand. The "real" Bush company went bust about 30 years ago! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bush_%28brand%29

Thanks for the help - I have ordered the Logik one

Bush is owned by Argos. Can't comment on their quality, they were budget and mediocre in the 80s when I had one of their walkmen (portable music player that could play 90 minutes music from one cassette! (_;))

I had a Bush cassette player to use with my ZX Spectrum :D!

Both are bottom for quality and reliability so just go for the one with more features

Bush is an Argos brand, Logik is a Dixons group brand. Both are slapped on imported goods mainly from China. Neither is better than the other as the original manufacturer dictates the quality not the brand slap. It's quite possible some identical products are sold under each brand.
