Buying a Dell Laptop

I'm looking to buy a Dell laptop for my daughter's 18th birthday (it's going to have to be a Dell one for the colour options!) My budget's about £400 and I'm wondering what the catch is with a Studio 1737 from pixmania...

It seems to have better specs than anything I can get from the Dell main site for similar money. Can anyone tell me if I'm missing something?

(I'm keeping my eye on the Dell outlet site just in case of course!)

dunno anything bout laptops except this is the one im getting to replace my dell that my 2yr broke lol this has £80 OFF at the minute taking it to £349. 97

hop eits helped if not im sorry

the only 'catch' is the processor, its not the fastest, also will your daughter be using the laptop on her knees, the 17" might be to big and cumbersome for portablilty, take a look at the HP artist edition, its a bit funky and got amazing spec for its price, but might not be to her taste....

or get a laptop that has good spec such as

and get a laptop sticker from
lapjacks.com to personalise it!
