    Buying Iphone 7 Plus Outright?

Looking to buy my wife a new Iphone 7 plus (32gb). Is buying these phones still cheaper (with a £10 PAYG SIM) then getting one on a 24 month contract?

Is John Lewis the best place to get one as it offers 24 month warranty? Can't see any place that I could get cashback from it.

Not looking at buying second hand.

    Thanks

think there is a 0% offer and you can opt for Apple care and an upgrade in a year if keep phone in good condition

Id get it from apple as ive had a few things replace out of warranty when they have become fauilty under consumer law without any argument.

If you have the money, I prefer buying phone, then sim contract.

Phone + sim contracts tend to be slightly more expensive, but a lot of people do it this way - so don't let me stop you.

Not sure if you have benefits from work or know someone who has - but there are some companies that provide lifestyle benefits to their employees.

Some can get 5-10% off Argos, Currys PC World off, it's a top up card too.

If you could get that, then maybe use Quidco for one of those retailers, you'll probably save £70-90 from the phone.

Then, if you know anyone who works at any network companies, then they can normally offer you some good deals.
For example, I have a friend at Three who can give me something like 8GB data, unlimited calls etc for £13, or if your wife is a heavy user, 30GB, unlimited calls for £16.50.

No it's interest free, I got the plus 64gb and 2 year apple care for £41 a month. If you remove the Apple care it's even cheaper and your able to pay off more or even the whole amount anytime. I'm on the upgrade program so I can trade it in the 7 when the new one is launched or keep it but either way no interest is paid.

0% credit card. But it from Apple. Pay it off in the term suitable to you

well u need compare he 2 e.g. cost of buy on pay as you go + the cost of sim ur going use vs pay monthly cost it may worm out cheaper if u need specific amounts of data mins. to go either way. have u checked o2 refresh that maybe a cheaper option buy buy on contract and paying off almost straight away after of course having phone unlocked and then cancelling the sim side of contract.

    sorry typo's yet again

Thank you for replying. I can get a BT (EE) one for £10pm with 4gb and unlimited minutes etc which is sufficient. So phone is £719 and 2 years of £10 is £959 over 2 years. Just unsure if you'd get anywhere near to that on a contract. She's currently on O2 contract which expires shortly.
