Buying prescription glasses online?

I did notice the other thread, But i need proper prescription lenses/glasses.

I would prefer UV reactive as they are for driving, What sites would you reccomend! (Both best price and quality?)

    I've seen glassesdirect.co.uk and goggles4u.com , Didn't like the look of the googles 4 U site though.

Thanks peoples, Will hopefully save a fortune!

Ok thanks, Keep hearing good things about glasses direct, I like the site and the prices aren't bad either!

Anybody know the cost of a UV reactive tint online?

having trouble with googles4u at the moment. Wrong frame, wrong prescription sent! Mind you others have said they are good. Maybe they had a bad day with my order. Cost was around £17 which included uv reactive tint

Thanks very much, Seems like the glasses direct and goggles4U are the most popular.

Has anyone used www.myoptics.co.uk or spex4less.com?

selectspecs.com looked keen on prices when I looked for some myself. I never did order any however so I cannot say if they're any good!

If you need a strong prescription, then you absolutly must use googles4u, they are sooo cheap, good quality.

They are also fast, you will receive them in less then 2 weeks.

I bought a pair from www.nuglasses.co.uk I uploaded my photo and tried a few pairs on. The glasses took about a week to arrive and were great, nice quality. The girl on the phone was very helpful too. Worth a look.

I used googles4u without any problems. Glasses arrived in about 5 days and everyone keeps telling me they are cool!!!!

I have used these a few times:

Would recommend them, not sure if they are the cheapest though.

They have a good range of lens, tints, etc that can be applied, but the cost can add up as you increase the additional extras.

I can recommend them too

They are based in Hong Kong but you should get your glasses in about 2 weeks
