just do it should be ok xx

yes you can add food colouring to ready made icing but you would be better to buy the colour paste rather than the liquid as it will be a bit difficult to blend though can be done if that is all you can get just remember to wear gloves as its harder to remove than hair dye lol

is there not a sugarcraft shop or stall near where you live?? you can buy the icing ready coloured then and it will be a really strong colour

It will take some kneading as it is hard to get an even colour, also if you put too much colouring it tends to go sticky.

if you use colour paste or powder (with a wet brush) it works a lot better and a tub lasts for ever you only need a touch but its hard to get in supermarkets you have to find either a market stall or shop that specialises in cake making

did exactly that for mums cake, but with red. It worked ok - too ages though. I had to put it in the fridge once it had mixed so it would harden up again. Otherwise would have been too sticky to roll

Try Dulux in with the mix

adding a bit of cornflour should get rid of the sticky problems brain not working v quickly this morning should have said this earlier hehe
