calling on knowledge of a tiler !!!!

had my bathroom tiled around 4 years ago and 2 tiles have came loose so my husband scraped off old adhesive and applied new adhesive grout but the problem is they dont seem to stick could dampness cause them not to stick ?.The chipboard looks dry and he has used the hairdryer on the area where the tiles are missing from before placing the tiles back on ,they seem to firm ok then they just work loose a couple of days later !

grab is that a make ?

Best way to get around this is to put some neat PVA bond where the tiles are missing, leave to dry for a few hours, then re-tile.
    Hope this helps!

What he is saying is use a product called no more nails made by unibond. Use this to stick the tiles to the wall then grout as normal i cannot tell you if this will work though hope this helps you. makingdiyeasier.co.uk/uni…tml

yeah ive used no more nails (poundland equvalent is fine) for similar awkward tiles before

b&q do an own brand grab adhesive.its in a tube on the sealants aisle.or you can spend a little more and buy no nails which is the branded one.it sticks pretty much anything too anything else. what sheriff waffles is saying is what a tiler would do.the chipboard is not sticky enough thereby coating with pva will give it a surface that stays tacky once dry so the tile adhesive will stick to it properly. but my suggestion is quicker

    Tiles on chipboard!...........

As sheriff said, strong PVA mix then waterproof adhesive.
