When calling either from or to abroad by mobile to mobile, do you just dial as normal or do you have to include codes and drop numbers.

I was txting a friend abroad and was trying all this and it wasnt working then i just tried sending it as normal and they replied back, which either means they werent abroad or mobiles work differnet to landlines.

they were in the dominican and I thought you had to use the codes as you do a landline, tried them all and nothing got through, so just txted to there normal number as you would here and they replied back, so are mobiles excluded from adding codes and dropping the first number.

P.s I was in the UK, they were in the dominican. Its all new to me.

yeh its a uk number but when you go abroad your network switches to that of the country, so whats wrong in assuming that you need a code. jeez ask a question and get lynched for it.
