Hi,

I was thinking about taking my friend's daughter to Build-a-Bear for her birthday, but she's 10 years old so I'm worried she might be a bit old for it?

I'd be really grateful of your opinions...

Thanks x

never to old for build a bear my girls 10 & 12 & 36 they all love it lol

lol-my daughter just had her 13th birthday party there! was her choice-all her friends had a great time-the party host gears the party to suit the age-we let them loose in build a bear and then took them to pizza hut-a great time had by all!

My OH is 32 and she likes them plus my daughter is 3 and she loves them too !

She has an older sister who's 14 so I think she's a little bit more advanced/mature than other girls of her age on some things, but not all of the time - that's why I'm a bit unsure, but wanted to get her something a little bit different without spending too much :-S

hahaha my son is ten and was there few weeks back having the time of his life!!! So did mum!!

Aren't they like £30 each?

bears start at 8 pounds each-you set your own budget beforehand and the party planner steers them in that direction-they can just get a bear,or a bear and an outfit-depends what you want to spend.

One Word awersome took my 2 little girls they had a fantastic time great fun

I have twin daughters who are 12 and they love build a bear, you can use the receipt code and code on the personalised birth cert to get items on the buildabearville online game,my girls are always on it,your never to old.

same as everyone else, dont really think girls grow out of liking teddies?

That's what I was planning - buy a £20 voucher then take her along so if it's slightly more I can pay the difference rather than her mum having to make it up. ;-)

Thanks everyone x

I got one for my 21st never too old for a teddy!

Dont expect it to be cheap though!

yep my 13yr old likes them too

If she's too old for Build-a-bear - Try taking her to Ann Summers or something, might like the items in their more.
