Morning all,

I hope we are all well on this chilly Friday.
I am trying to get through the families Xmas shopping list and my mum wants a circular polariser for her canon 500d. I know it has a 58mm lens but i need a little help.

There are a few brands such as Hoya, B+W and Tiffen and i was wondering if anyone could make some recommendation. I am looking to try and keep the spend to under £50 if possible. if it's not, please let me know what i should be looking to spend.

Thanks in advance

I've just spotted these...

amazon.co.uk/Zei…1-2

Anyone used these before?

I'm not familiar with the ones from Amazon so can't comment on those. My tip would be to buy slim filters, helps to stop unwanted vignetting and the like.
Warehouse Express have a couple that come in just under £50 -
Sigma 58mm EX DG Circular Polarising Filter £49.99
B+W 58mm Slim Circular Polariser Filter £48.99

I usually use B+W and find them reliable.

and a link if it works

Thanks! Much appreciated, i will have a look

just remember that some of the filters require an attachment. I have a HAMA circular polariser that fits on to 58mm lens that i am perfectly happy with.
