I think it’s a weevil. They used to be associated with ears, although I’ve never experienced it 😳

Lol correction earwigs are the ear creature as noted above. Each is as creep as the other though - shudder.

Looks like a Devil’s Coach Horse beetle to me. Earwigs have pincers on their backs and that seems to be missing them. rspb.org.uk/bir…se/

Forficula auricularia, aka common earwig. Likely a female.
We call earwigs and woodlice widgies so I'm gonna say it's a widgie
