Can anyone please recommend some thick, comfy, black socks that don't leave bits everywhere? :x

Sorry for the utterly ridiculous topic, but I'm fed up of most of the time I take my socks off, there are all black bits that go everywhere - this is on like three different types I have, the only ones that don't do it are the cotton socks but they're always really thin I find.

Sorry for the utterly ridiculous topic, just I'm fed up with them now - not looking for a particularly hot deal either, don't care what I have to pay, I just want some good socks!

Thanks

Tescos do three pairs of workwear socks for a fiver. This is what I wear at work as they are thick, durable, warm and comfy. Ideal when you're standing on your feet for 10 hours a night in big, clunky, steel toecapped boots.

never had this problem with ANY socks ever.

Just make sure your feet are completely dry before putting your socks on.
you cant beat NEXT socks - fantastic!
tattoo your feet black
in ten years with hubby his feet have managed to shred.eat through every pair of blacks socks ever bought and i spend every day hoovering the damn stuff up of the carpets. If you manage to find some please let me know too.
I have encountered this problem and the remedy is very simple...................wash them inside out!

Funny i was talking about this same problem last week in work, fresh socks on for about half an hour, then take them off and your feet look like they have not been washed in months :-D lol

Very annoying
Threads gone quiet?.............guess everybody is off washing their socks inside out? lol

Thanks, I'll try that - I think my problem is when I'm in the car to be honest, as opposed to how I wash them - I always have my car heater up probably too much on my feet, which sorry if this is gross, probably makes em sweat a bit... which means bits get stuck to my feet :P

I've got thin socks on today. Never have any problems with this. I almost went the Tesco route but they had Alan Tischmarch's face on the front of the packet which I found rather off putting
