I have two fire tabs for my toddlers they bent the first chargers, so i replaced with pound shop one then i got worried bout all these fires starting with the wrong chargers so i bought another official amazon lead for £10 but could do with more does anyone know if its ok to use others safely preferably cheaper i us ps4 pad charger lead aswell

this is what I use to charge my electrical devices with USB...…c=1

every so often, my USB cables will become faulty (charge devices slow or not at all). I would then just replace the USB cable.

I've had the USB adapter for two years and it's still OK and offers to charge my devices much quicker.

hope this helps.

I use my phone charger. Same connection. If it's good enough for the phone it's goodenough for the fire. Not a professional though I do have a basic understanding of electrics

These are brilliant chargers. You really need 1.8amp or more per usb port so this will charge 5 devices no problem off just 1 plug. Tablets. Phones ect.. Also anker make some really nice branded cables. Here are the links
Anker USB Charger PowerPort 5 (40W 5-Port USB Charging Hub) Multi-Port Wall Charger for iPhone 6s / 6 / 6 Plus / 5 / 5s, iPad Air 2 / mini 3, Galaxy S6 / S6 Edge and More…R57

Cable. Various lengths. Standard one

Anker® 3ft / 0.9m Nylon Braided Tangle-Free Micro USB Cable with Gold-Plated Connectors for Android, Samsung, HTC, Nokia, Sony and More…E0C

anker charging hub for about £18

I charge my fire with whatever charger is hanging around . Mostly old phone ones .
