Would have thought ring the council they do it

You need permission first from the council to drop kerbs

    Butterfingers Builders Ltd.?

do the council not do it in your area as they are liable for trips and falls claims

Neil string well based in Otley is a descent contracter

You would need to go through your counail and they would arrange for their contractors to take out the work. No negotiations on price, it's all fixed and be prepared for a long wait and an admin fee for the application.

I actually have a permission letter from council allowing 4 centre kerbs.letter was given to us by the person we bought the house from.sais on it ive got until dec 2018 to start the work. From what I understand, the council doesn't always do the work, sometimes it has approved contractors to undertake the project.once work is finished, someone from council drops by to inspect and update Highway map.correct me if I'm wrong but all I need is a contractor on leeds council "approved" list.

That sounds pretty straightforward. Mine was a complete nightmare - applied in last January and after a lot of chasing and white hair growth I finally got it done end of August. People still park outside my drive

Good luck with yours, I think it helps you can control the work yourself and sorry I wasn't much help! Just thought all councils operate the same way.
