Can anyone recommend a comfy laptop backpack / rucksack please?

Hi guys

Posting in here in case anyone can help me...

I want to buy a backpack for my laptop (less than a 15.4" screen). There seem to be a lot to choose from, even just browsing amazon - different makes etc. Can anyone recommend a particular one that they use? I'd like it to be comfortable, and I just cannot tell how that will be from browsing the interweb! I like the look of amazon.co.uk/Wen…HYE this Wenger Swissgear one for £34...

Even better, have you seen a good one at a good price?

I'd like to spend less than £40 on this.

TIA (Thanks in advance) :santa:

Thanks for your help  That dearer one looks similar to the one I pointed out on amazon.

Would you know if they're any good UltimoScorpion?

I saw the cheaper one on offer in Tesco doorway the other day, and it certainly looked strong and well made. I'm undecided whether the extra money for the swissgear ones is for a stronger better made bag or whether its paying extra for the name and design. I nearly bought one of the cheaper ones myself, as I currently have one of those briefcase style bags and feel like a right knob whenever I carry it into a hotel!! :giggle: ;-)

That's what I always wonder, but I feel a brand name usually lives up to the extra cost...

Yeah, me too. Also, with a backpack style one, not everyone knows that you are obviously carrying a latpop, security wise

EDIT - lol @ latpop

I use a Crumpler "Sheep shearer". Great bag and very comfortable, but a tad expensive. You could try finding one on fleabay!

Unfortunately the nearest Ikea to me would probably be Edinburgh... which is a bit far for me in Northern Ireland, but thanks for the suggestion anyway

That's the kind of comments I'm interested in I think I'm leaning towards one of them

Tech Air ones are very good quality

Keep us posted! Am looking for a new bag at the moment, I've got a Tech Air one currently and there just isn't enough compartments so everything gets lost in the main one!

Will do Tillboy. I'm off on a wee trip next month, so will be using it then. Bump this if I forget to update you

hi emmajk42 just wondering how you got on with this bag? Im looking for a laptop rucksack at the moment and am also leaning towards the swissgear ones.

I really like the look of the synergy backpack but the cheapest i can find is £34.99 delivered but there is also the "hudson" for £15.99 delivered.

Problem is there is no real reviews on any of the models other than the synergy so if anyone has any experience i would appreciate the advise before i purchase one of them.

Yeah, I got the swissgear one. It's really good. It will probably last me through a few more laptops!!! It's very comfy to wear, handy when travelling.

LOL i don't believe this. I don't have the swissgear, I've just looked at it, and I never even knew that. See my boyfriend bought me one as a pressie, and I cancelled the microdirect order.

It's actually ]this one in a different colour.
