Can anyone recommend a good hairspray, please?

    Afternoon.

I just bought the Babyliss 'You Curl' - the straightener that makes your hair curly!

I want to pop over to Superdrug now and pick up a good hairspray so I can have a go with it later, but I haven't a clue what one is good to get.

I want one that doesn't make your hair sticky!

    Can anyone recommend one?

    Thanks

Use mousse instead.... lasts longer that way.. or if your going to get hairspray try tresemme or The gold can i think its called Elnett

    i use pantene:thumbsup:

I always use mousse for my curls, my hair's poker straight but a good mousse does the job. And don't put loaaads in or it won't dry while it's curled up. Then when you've finished give it a spritz of hairspray

    Well that's why I couldn't find it :x

How on earth is this a 'deal request'?
Isn't a deal request when I am looking for the cheapest price for something? Whereas, I am just asking which one the girls use.

Now the girly's who frequent the misc section won't see it - I know I very rarely check the 'deal request' board (unless I am very bored! :giggle:)

go for the cheaper brands, like boots own, or supermarket ownbrand, have more fixatives in and hold better, saw test on tv one day, I should know, i'm a man

Thanks. I do use mousse if I am drying my hair but these 'You curl' thingies you use on dry hair - just like straighteners but your hair goes curly instead, that's why I am after a good hairspray to spray on after.

Can't really expect many more posts after this thread being moved, so will try and pick up the tresemme one - just didn't want to pay out blindly for a rubbish one!

Reported this and asked for it to be moved back to misc... seriously can't believe it got moved!

I can move it back you know, just use the report button if it happens again. If anyone is looking for a product recommendation it normally goes into deal requests, but it's no problem moving it back. Just need to actually let us know, thanks.

EDIT : Thanks sadiebabes, sorry you can't believe it got moved ;-)

I popped over there for a Tresemme one - didn't cross my mind that there would be about 4 or 5 different Tresemme ones LOL!

I noticed a couple of small 100ml cans so picked up the 'firm hold' one rather than the 'extra hold' one as the latter one didn't have 'lasting touchable hold' on the front :giggle:

Thanks all, will see how I get on

EDIT: Oh, and more to the point - WTF you trying to do to me with that avatar? Give me nightmares???
