    To clean things loool

.....in today's society they are no longer called Janitors, instead they are known as:
    'Micro Particle Investigators'..........Thank You!:?

would depend on job description janitors i.e caretakers of large building will do very little cleaning as will manage cleaners and maybe do maintenance or organise it...

    Janitor or cleaning operative specialist?

either way, its cleaning up all the stuff no-one else will clean

certainly, messy toilets and vomit are two of the specialities

and maybe fix the occasional thing

    Janitor comes from Greek.

"Jan" meaning "to clean" "Itor" meaning "stuff up"

    Hope this helps.

    to fight grime

A janitor is responsible for usualy locking and un locking buildings supervising cleaners and doing some maintance and refurb work like painting You can also be asked to clean areas as well. It does vary but as I have been a Facility manager for 20 years this is what i expect from my staff

how did someone not know this?
