Can I find out what the weather will be?

Hi, I'm thinking of going to India (Punjab) in mid May with my little kids. I'm trying to find out what the weather is normally like at that time of year, (just want to make sure its not too hot), is there a web site available that tells the average rainfall, temp etc?

    Thanks

    SEASONS

There are three well defined seasons in the Punjab. These are:

    1. Hot Season (mid-April to the end of June)
    2. Rainy Season ( early July to the end of September)
    3. Cold Season (early December to the end of February)

Seems to be in the low 40's C in May (110 Degrees +)

    cheers guys

Hi mate, having been to India for the past 4 years to the Punjab (Ludhiana) in May/June all I can say is; it’s very very hot.

Typical temperatures range from 38c to 45c.

I would probably advise against it with little kids, but it depends where you will be living. If you’re going to be living in a house with modern air conditioning then it is fine. However if you will be living in the Pind then your in trouble!

Just make sure you stay indoors during the afternoon. During the early morning and after around 7pm it gets much cooler.

I had heat stroke last year and was admitted to hospital… not very pleasant at all in India!

Where about will you be going?

Ignore what I said, just go! This is bringing back memories!
