Depends on the employer, but they don't have to pay you or carry it into the next year.

most will wipe it in the current climate

    take them just now?

You will automatically get paid for any oustanding holiday entitlement at the end of the tax year

Depends where you work and their own rules. I can carry my hols over.
You need to ask your boss.

Also depends on when they renew the annual leave. Our company starts the new leave entitlement on January 1st.
As J_B says, speak to your boss and see what they say.

Nope, your employer only has to pay them if you leave with outstanding holidays.

Must be different depending on the employer then, we lose the non taken holidays but receive the holiday pay at the end of each tax year

Its employers discretion. Some employers have a holiday sacrifice or buying scheme therefore you can sell your holidays back to the employer but others will say tough and say that you had the chance to take them and you didn't. Without delay clarify this with your employer as they are under no obligation to pay any outstanding holiday..........good luck

Depends on employee contract. We have to use them or lose them.

in my company if u dont take them u lose them.

    +1... Same for me

No one will know the answer to this without knowing the finer details of your contract mate.

There is a legal minimum amount of holiday you are entitled to, 20 days, and your employer should make you take at least this amount. I would take them unless you plan on leaving the company in the next 2 months

I believe you able to have 1 and a half days per month it works out. Depends on your employer/company in my case it got wiped. I would take the holiday:)
