    can i pay a bill on my credit card

    i in credit by £300 on one of my credit cards, as i paid too much last time..
    i also have a electric bill in for £270, is it possible to pay of my electric bill with my credit card,or will it be classed as cash and charged extra or will it be classed as a normal purchase?thanks

    Going forward, it might be worth setting up a direct debit to pay the balance on your cc and also the bill too.

    That way you can forget missing payments or over paying etc.

    Should be no problem but be aware some utility companies charge a credit card surcharge for using anything other than a debit card to make payment, check this before you do.
