Can I still use my copy of Windows XP MC Edition?

    Hi all

Wonder if anyone can help me...

I have a CD/DVD of Windows XP MCE. It was installed onto my PC but after a few weeks I was sent an upgrade to Windows Vista (I purchased the PC in the transitionary period).

Question is, is the original OS CD and its CoA still valid or has it been superceded?

Reason for asking is I have Acer Netbook, can't get on with Linux so want to add RAM and change OS to Windows and I thought I could use this one I have already?

    What do you think?

    Cheers

Not legally, but I think it should still work technically.

I think you are right - it's the whole genuine advantage thing isnt it - prob not worth the hassle as I nver really like XP MCE will see if I can get a cheap standard XP !
