Can I unblock my Sony Ericsson Vivaz?

Evening all. 2 years I had my phone stolen. Yesterday out of no where I get a phone call from the police telling me they've found it, someone tried to sell it in cash converters. I still can't believe it myself. Anyway, when it was nicked I got it blocked. A bit of a long shot but is there any way to unblock it or is it useless? Thanks if anyone can help.

Yes, if you provide your phone network with a copy of the police incident number and also any documentation you get from them showing that it as been returned to you. To be certain what they need give them a ring and I am sure they will sort you out.

Don't forget to inform the insurance company you got it back, i doubt they will be bothered after all this time but best to be legit.

Only the network that placed the blacklisting can lift it. So, you'd need to call that network not the one you're with now.

But if you've changed networks it could end up taking far more time to sort than it's worth!

Thanks, I'll give them a ring and see what they say. I haven't got the phone back yet but I'll ask at the police station for all the documents needed

Got the phone back. Turns out whoever stole it had already unblocked it, saves me the hassle I suppose.
