Ive debranded so far but cant find how to unlock it, I know you can with the Viewty and thought this would be a similar process, but having no joy.

I tried it on a friends phone and it works fine.

I had my viewty unlocked at CEX for £10.00 if you one near you.

Viewty is no probs to do, quick and easy if you follow the instructions, I printed them out to save flicking back and forth between software and guide.

I never pay to get phones unlocked, may try a smart sim instead!

Main thing is I've got rid of al the laggy orange crap on the Renoir, and its much faster and smoother (now running g-mans custom firmware!)

Sooner or later there is usually a software solution around.

Found an answer to this yet harl?

Not yet, may try a I-sim in it instead until a solution is found.

Btw, never could get this to work.

Tried it on Vista and XP machines but each time only got as far as completing Step 3. The box on Step 4 would never appear for me. Any thoughts what it might be? The Viewty is locked to O2
