can someone explain about the spam button

its prolly been posted before but im not completely sure on the use of the spam button, tonight ive been following 2 threads & both have dissapered, i saw nothing wrong with the threads so im assuming they were spammed, i take it if you spam a thread does it get deleted & does it take only one use of the spam button to remove at thread.

if this is the case why would someone do it, can they be traced if they keep doing it ?

mods are supposed to monitor all spammed threads, and return those wrongly spammed, but think misc no one gives a crap, once spammed thats that

    thanks Sassie

seems a strange way to run a board, perhaps an icon should be placed in the left hand page where the avi is to show the user has just spammed something.

i give up on any suggestions on this site

No rhyme or reason for posts disappearing on here.

You can post as many racist, sexist and homophobic jokes as you like and get away with it. And the more foul-mouthed the better.

    Other threads disappear randomly.

the spam buttom is used by some who have no life, and like to feel powerful and important in any way they can.
