done it but hot uk page is telling me:

Please enter a valid URL to an image file. This file must be a jpg, gif, or a png. The link must not contain any html or BB code formatting.

as far as I am concerned it is a jpg?

Or try [url]www.tinypic.com[/url] just clik browse find the file and then clik the upload button.
then copy the IMG Code for Forums & Message Boards straight into the post.
No need for clicking the little yellow button

no won't let me do it - is it because I am copying from John Lewis site: I want a photo of this toy and it just won't let me upload then from photobucket or tinypic

    johnlewis.com/Sho…D=1

    [IMG]s7v1.scene7.com/is/…640?$gallery$[/IMG]

In JohnLewis website, right click on picture and select properties. Copy the picture URL from there and paste the link in the insert image box.

I am sure someone else can explain that better:-D

    .....

Or right clik on the picture and clik view image then copy the url into your post

i dont know if you missed this stage but

firstly you need to save the pic from JL site to for exaple your desktop
then upload the pic from your desktop to Photobucket
then copy the link provided (the IMG code link) into your reply onto the thread

if you need instructions more detailed let us know

I'm sure one of us would be able to paste the picture in your sale thread:thumbsup:

You don't need to save it to your PC, as photobucket allows you to put the URL of the image straight in.

really? that's useful to know! I suppose this makes sense if you have a page with just one pic, what about if you are uploading a pic from a webpage where there are a lot of other pics?
or am I not making any sense?

It depends whether the pics have different addresses or not I guess, it's some thing you will have to test by checking the properties of the pics.
