Can you get a blu-ray drive for xbox 360..?

I have seen there are some hd dvd drives for the xbox, but is there a blue-ray one? or are they bringing one out soon?

I know i could just get one seperate but im really short of space!

    Wrong forum........but no you can't.

And chances of bringing one out are very slim as they are going down the download route on marketplace.

thats not fair on those who cant download massive files! My limits only 2gb a month

Yea no one really fancies downloading 1080p movies, even on 20mb/s broadband lol
It's so much faster to bang in a disc.

get a bigger limit then. Its plenty fair enough - just not on tightwads like you, which is fair game in itself.

but then you'd have to put up with even the ps3 mags sadly moaning about the xbox 360 graphics being slightly better on every single multi-format release!

give me an all-in-one media server solution rather than the 360 with add-ons to achieve the same (and 360 will cost more overall). Graphics aren't the gamers utopia you know. ;-)

Or rather than be a fanboy, do what i have and buy both and then you have the best of both worlds. :-D

Its not really limits thet are the problem. In the uk unless you can get cable max d/l is only approx 20meg. most people probably around 4-8meg and if you live too far forom the exchange as loww as 500kb. Until everyone can get a decent d/l rate say 20meg+ HD downloads at 1080p are just not viable. every 1Gb at 4 meg take approx 45 mins so your average movie will take 4 hours to d/l. Not exactly an instant service. We need a better telecoms infrastructure before this tech will be completely viable.

just to keep you "in the know", it's "Blu-Ray", not "Blue-Ray". Not having a go, just being helpful :-D

nothing to do with being a tightwad, its my dads connection and he makes the decisions! plus i dont do illegal downloads so never needed more than a 2gb limit.
