Heres the deal i have a empty pci slot I want to use for a wireless card the problem being that my graphics card is so big it covers the pci slot up.

I need someway to be able to plug my wireless card in but put it further down the motherboard so it can fit into an empty slot on the back of the case.

not sure if u can move a pci slot but for bout a tenner u can get a usb wireless adaptor which would do the same job

Cant u pull out the metal bits on the back of the case? Usually they are detachable - use pliers if so and be careful

You can get risers and extenders, just look around...

I thought that and temp bought a Belkin one from Argos but its **** TBH, the amount of dropouts I got or the net dying competly for hours on end no matter if I tried it in laptop or desktop despite my laptops card with no aerial connecting fine with its built in adaptor, it also seemed slower on usb.

Besides I have a good wireless card just cant install it.

You can get them for things like m-ITX boards and the like, but they aint all that cheap...

Hmm, in all means all I need is someway to watch tv on pc and have a wireless card since right now I have a tv card in pc(though unused) so would have to remove it to put in wireless card and my graphics card hasnt got a tv in and usb tv cards have a terrible rep.

So its either go back to the 8800GT and rid of my hd 4870 or find some way to access the pci slot
