As above. Only renting a place for 6 months and therefore dont need the full yearly licence for £145. Do they offer 6 month licences?

You can very easily transfer it to your new address so I wouldn't worry about it,
I think you can pay quarterly so 3/6/9/12 months at a time
............or pay for the year and claim back all remaining months when you cancel by DD?
just watch on demand content and you don't have to pay nothing.

At the moment, but auntie Beeb are trying to change the rules so you have to have a license even if you only watch online.
Don't bother paying it, spend that money on something useful.

yes so I've heard, think its at least 2 to 3 years away yet so no worries for a while yet.
The TV licence follows you around. But if you don't need it after the 6 months then just cancel it.

pay by direct debit & then claim a refund of any overpayments.
