ok guys a new thread with a new title

i received my upgrade today from orange and i dont really like it

so i intend to sell it, but im a bit confused (easily done)

i agreed to a new contract which is fine but they sent a new sim, and i have to call to activate, i guess this is to activate the new contract, not the handset?

if i sell the phone do i need to use the new sim in my current phone and activate it?

thanks

if it is for a new contract yes you will need to activate the new sim with the new number, you can do what ya like with the phone as long as you dont cancel the contract (which you cant do anyway)

you can sell the phone as its your property, if you cancel contracts after 7 days you have to pay off the remaining contractual time left not the price of the handset, why dont you just send it back and get an different one, you have 7 days cooling off period on contracts, but most networks change handsets rather than have a contract cancelled, tmobile always tell me if i dont like a phone i can change it.

your new sim is probably just an updated vertion of your old one. If you keeping the same mobile number you should be fine with your old sim but TBH I would activate the new one to help cut down on glitches. I can't think of any other reason why the would send you a new sim

orange send a new sim with every new phone wish tmobile did mines over 12 years old grrr guy in the tmobile shop didnt know what it was when he saw it lol, i think you need to activate the new sim and put it in the handset you are going to use. what handset did you get as my upgrades due and cant decide what to get then i will know not to get the same

PHone t-mobile tell them yer sims 12 years old they'll send you a new one foc. If they give you any gip just say yer fone is accationally turning itself off and cutting out. You've tried the same sim in anothet tmobile handset and the same thing happened, you tried another sim in your handset and it was fine.

It's not a Sony Ericsson K810i in white is it Lou ?
If so I could be interested if you're selling

lol cancel that just seen up there

Damn yeah I had forgotten about that. You could divert your calls from one to another but that would work out very expensive so probably not ideal

other option is to go into a branch of tmobile and pay a tenner, i think after being with them since they were mercury, its a bit of a joke,

you should return it and get a samsung g600 or something which is pricy and can self for more.
