Cancel my three contract?

I have had my three handset now for a couple of months and my conract isn't up for another 15 motnhs.

I am now having more and more faults with 3 and the services they have each and every day. When I receive a text message, sometimes it takes days to arrive to me, 3 days in one case. Also, when I receive texts about 15% of time it simply says "some text missing".

I have rang 3 customer service about this and I got my postcode checked for coverage and was told there was no 3G coverage in my area. I don't see why I should stay on with this network if I don't get the benefits. It is not only texts I am having the problem with. I also go for periods of time with no reception at all. This means the phone I have is worthless to me as I can make or receive calls or texts. Its wasting my money basically.

I delete my text message inbox and sent items after basically every text now but that never improved anything. I was also told to enter a code in my handset by a member of 3 but that also didnt help. These problems have been going on and on and Im fed up with it as I'm missing out on meeting up with friends because I dont get their texts. I do not see the point in me being with a network if I cannot receive my texts or if Im getting those days late.

I believe the only solution to this problem is me getting my contract terminated by three. I emailed them this but a longer version and they were no help whatsoever and they said i would have to pay an early termination fee. Why do i when it is there fault my phone is not working. Can i cancel my contract any other way?

Any got any solutions?

Go into the 3 store and kick up a fuss in front of other customers, they'll cancel it for you no problem if you refuse to go away

Hi ive been haveing problems with my 3 mobile as well, the handset and the coverage. All they do when I ring is try and talk me through the setting etc.. its now been in for repair twice (to nokia) problem still there but 3 have still been insisting I send it back again for repair. I rang Consumer Direct, who have been great they advised me that they were in breach of there contract (and informed me under what act etc...) 2 weeks later Nokia have sent me a N95 sim free RESULT but I am yet to here from 3, I was advised to give them 14 days to reply and to call them back for taking it further if 3 dont contact me.
My advice is call consumer direct, if you explain the situation they will tell you if they are in breach and how to go about sorting things out with them. Good Luck, let me know how you get on

No they will probably just call the police for breach of the peace and then you will look a xxxx.
The store cannot cancel anyone's contract ( 14 days return policy scrapped some time ago) only the network can and you have 2 chances of that..a dogs chance and no chance

Incorrect, I got mine cancelled in store a week last Tuesday, was only a kiosk in Superdrug and not even a proper 3 store, originally he claimed he could'nt cancel but after putting a couple of potential customers off he soon found a way :whistling:

Maybe its the phone i been with 3 for 3 years never had a problem!
