Cancelled Virgin Media - Phone, TV and Broadband Package

I have cancelled my Virgin TV, Broadband and Phone package on the 8th October 2017, by calling the Customer Support. Since cancelling all my packages with them, I have had no further communications with them. They have not written to me to confirm that I have cancelled.

I'm sure there are people out there within the UK Hot Deals community user community who have cancelled with Virgin. My question is have you had any further communications from them about the cancellation?

Thank you in advance for any comments.

They probably haven't even cancelled it they did it to me I had to call again months later as to why they were sending me bills and I as told because I had cancelled my direct debit. I told them I already cancelled and they said no notes on the system to suggest that. They are pathetic

when I cancelled it was so simply phone call to inform them. There was no further correspondence between us and they're services ended on the date they said... You will get a phone call in a week or so to see if they can do anything to make you stay though.

I cancelled 26.09.16 and received a call from retensions last Friday. I'm on anytime calls and 20mb broadband and was paying £46.75 pcm. Offered at point of cancellation 100mb broadband, new router and weekend only calls for £33. I said no quoting BT deal at the time.

Retensions offered me 100mb broadband, any time calls and call waiting for £33 with a new router for 12 month contract. I probably could have got a bit cheaper but that's over £200pa saving.

Kicking myself for not doing it sooner! I was prepared to disconnect though.

I cancelled all my services with Virgin on 22nd August over the phone and heard no more from them. I then continued to receive monthly bills from them and have had to call them back today. They had messed up but it was quickly sorted out and I am getting a refund of my over payments.

Thank you for all who replied. I've arranged for phone and Fibre from BT for the next 12 months. So they've lost me as a customer for at least the next 12 months.
