    cancelling ID mobile contract..

    My ID mobile comes to end on 11th Oct so I rang them to cancel the contract but I was told that I'll have to pay £30+ for termination fee!! If I don't want to pay fee then I can cancel on 11th Oct.. But then I'll have to pay the monthly rental for Oct???
    Has anyone else come across this? Is this correct procedure?

    Idmobile are scumbags. They stitch you anyway they can. They screwed my credit record for the sake of a £2.84 "final bill" that I never even knew about. Never had an email, text or invoice thru the post.

    The only time I found out was 6 months after when it appears on my record as "severely overdue"

    I was furious. Would never use those cowboys or their parent company, Carphone Warehouse " ever again.

    You have to give 30 days notice to end just about all contracts. But most (if not all) the other networks allow you to put in the request to end 30 before the final date.
    I guess if ID have it that they won't accepted it until the last day of the minimum term there's not much you can do about it!!! (but I would check their t&c's to make sure they're not bs'ing you).

    Could you not request your pac code and transfer it to a different network on the first day after your contract ends? Will they then refund you? Maybe worth asking them?

    Did the same to me had to pay 2 months extra on the monthly contract even though I gave them 30 days notice. I cancelled because I never had a signal anywhere. Flipping crooks

    To be honest, it's been fantastic for me. Never had an issue with network. Good reception & 4g.This is the first time I had to call them...
