    Canon EOS 100D or Nikon D3300

    Hello

    I want to buy a camera which have an external mic input which I found these two do in my budget which one should I buy ?

    If you want choice in lenses the EOS, not that the is not enough Nikon but EOS you can get cheaper second hand.
    If you struggle with menus the EOS, Nikon's menu system is not great imo.

    But I'm told Nikon does better video, don't know if that includes the sound.

    Just my opinion and probably not the most helpful while you're trying to make a decision however:

    I would suggest the D3300 is very slightly better in a couple of ways, however I prefer the choice of Canon lenses.

    The Nikon, my personal preference. I also believe that Nikon reliability and build quality is better than just about anyones.

    Best advice I can give is to go to a shop and try them both out in your hands to find out which one feels the best. At this level of camera (entry dslr) you shouldn't be worrying about lenses and stuff like that. They will both give you great quality photos - you won't tell any difference between them. Much better to get the one that feels best in your hands.
