    Canon SLR Lenses

I have an old Canon EOS 500n SLR camera with 2 EF lenses 28-80mm and 80-200mm.

I am looking at buying a Canon EOS 1000d DSLR and just wondered if anyone knew if these lenses will work with the 1000d?

    Any help much appreciated.

not sure but if not you looking at selling?

Both lenses will fit the 1000d

i think the lenses all have standard fits, but the relevant focal length will change dependant on the actual size of your d-slr sensor.

you should really ask at a photoshop - maybe even just try the lenses before you buy

if these are original 35mm lenses, then when paired up with newer DSLR sensor such as on the 1000d they will effectively become 1.6x
    ie 28-80 becomes 44-128 equivalent
