Can't amend Ebay invoice

Having probelms amending ebay invoices.

Tried to amend and resend and invoice with a £2 reduction but couldn't do it, the same total kept coming up. Put it down to the fact I had already sent it once and left it the buyer to amend, but they also failed to do it

Today I need to add £23 postage to a item I sold as "buyer collects or arranges courier". The invoice has not been sent yet. So I go to "postage and packing Other courier" and put £22.95 in and click recalculate. No good, still says £60 (auction end price). Try seller discounts and charges "22.95" but that does not work either. DO i need to put a + or - in? (tried that and still nothing)

Am I doing something wrong? Hopefully some easy rep for someone more well versed in the art of ebay than me!!

get them to send full amount then refund £2

Think theres a option in the settings somewhere to choose whether a invoice can be edited or not.
When you alter the invoice ,Underneath it say something like view invoice before sending ,Dont know the exact words but it shows you what the invoice will look like to the recipient,
Ignore the recalculate
Actually i think it says " Preview inoice"

Yep but the problem is it still says the original amount even after I have recalculated

Why would default be "not"? I had a quick look but can't see anything. It looks like I can edit the invoice, but then it reverts to the original. Could always ask the buyer to send £23 PP gift but its a bit dodgy on her part and in her position I might refuse. What I want is a nice simple invoice for £60 plus £23 postage. Grrrrrrr..........Ebay :x

Thanks for all help so far, still not resolved. Off to work now, will check back in the morning

Dont reacalculate .that just resets to the original invoice
Change postage amount
click preview invoice
if it looks ok click send invoice,
AS above ^^ it doesn't work when you click re-calculate,it 's never worked as far as i'm aware, just leave it and send it and it should be fine.

Yep sorted it myself, I added £23 and hit preivew without recalculating and it showed as £83 total so I sent it

Rep for you and tonyg
Yeah, this happens if you use on screen keyboards on tablets. You type in the number and do what comes naturally, which is to hit the go button. Unfortunately, in this case, that just resets the page.

So, type out the number and touch the screen away from the keyboard to dismiss it and then send/preview the invoice and it will be fine.
I'm trying to sell some items flat rate postage £2 set it up so that any additional item is free (p+p)

tried putting 10 items in my basket clicked get rates it says £20
